What To Expect
We are currently renting space within a sports facility, so sometimes it’s bustling! But you can be assured that you’re in the right place when you see banners on the inside and outside, as well as greeters wearing brightly colored t-shirts! Our Kids Team will be wearing brightly colored shirts, too and have iPads ready to get your kids three and under through our security process.
Worship is casual, from tshirts and jeans to dresses or slacks. We focus on content over style, so we sing songs with meaningful lyrics, pray intentionally, and hear sermons based on the Bible. Preaching is video-based and delivered by Derrick Lynch, Lead Pastor at Blue Valley Church in Overland Park, KS. You can watch our sermons on the Sermons page. In our worship services, you’ll see people of all ages reading Scripture, leading in prayer, and a group of people leading in music. Our worship service will start right at 11:00 AM and lasts about an hour.
Coming Soon: At 9:30 AM, we will have classes available for birth through pre-k, elementary, middle/high school, and adults.
Hope Mission Kids
We believe that kids should have a blast learning about Jesus every week and at Hope Mission Gardner we make this a priority. Another priority is safety. We have a secure check in process for every child. On your first visit, plan to spend a few minutes checking in your kids. More details can be found below.

Hope Mission Kids spend time learning while having fun! Activities include songs, games, large group time, Bible lessons, memory verses, snack time, and lots of fun!

Every activity and lesson help our younger kids answer the questions, Who is God? What has God done for us? What can we do for Him? Our older kids build on that foundation and learn about What is the Church? How do I become a part of the Church?

During our Easter worship service, Little Kids will be invited to hear a message geared towards them. After that children’s message, preschoolers will leave the service for Sunday School. Parents and other Adults will remain in the service to hear a message from Pastor Derrick Lynch.

Elementary kids will get to enjoy the Easter service from start to finish, and we have plans to offer Sunday School for big kids during worship services in the future.

Students grades 6-12 can enjoy the worship services as well as participate in all student activities that Blue Valley Church offers in Olathe and Overland Park throughout the week.
